Gandhi Fellowship is a full-time, residential, two-year leadership programme. We groom the inspired and inventive young people
of India to become Tomorrow’s Leaders.

Gandhi Fellowship believes India needs a new brand of constructive leadership, a pool of social change leaders who can think out of the box. We aspire to develop a cadre of future leaders to build the new India.

Gandhi Fellowship is an action-packed programme. It focuses on shedding prejudiced mindsets. It takes Fellows on a unique journey: from idea to action, fear to courage, apathy to empathy, and from cynicism to belief.

In the next decade we aspire to develop a pipe-line of Nation-Builders. Builders of courage, solutions and change. We want to unleash a network of future collaborators, who will work for a better India.

Through a deeply transformative process of self-discovery and personal change, the Fellows are encouraged to delve deeper, to discover their passions and to convert their private dreams into a public reality.

Parental Concerns

Parents are valid in being afraid of your choices. We don’t brush it under the carpet. It is a genuine concern of someone who cares. But then you have a dream. You might not want to pursue what your ordinary peers are doing. You have chosen a street which is different, so to say.

The point that needs to be driven is you are not on a self-destruct mission. On the contrary you are getting into a process that helps you blossom and then helps you align your personal dreams with the social reality.

Assure them, that you are in good company. That in fact you are in extremely good company. All the Kaivalya partners are the best in their businesses: Mercer, CoCoon Consulting, Bodh, Jodo Gyan and the Piramal Foundation.

Ajay Piramal, the chairperson of the Piramal Group, was so impressed with the first batch of Gandhi Fellows that he offered advance placements to all the Gandhi Fellows, at least 18 months before they passed out. Parents of the first batch of Gandhi Fellows were very confused about the career choices of their wards. It took them some time before they rested their fears.
